ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A 23-year-old upstate New York man has pleaded guilty to robbery in connection with a fatal shooting in the state capital.

Shaquan Oliver of Albany is the fourth defendant to plead guilty in the death of 35-year-old Alex Duncan, who was killed in September 2012 in front of a neighborhood business. Police said Oliver and co-defendants Bernard White, Uquan Bean and Antwan Uptegrow tried to rob Duncan, who was shot in the chest and died at Albany Medical Center.

Oliver faces 28 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision when he’s sentenced March 11. The prison time also includes an unrelated sentence of 13 years for a conviction of one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

White and Bean are to be sentenced a week earlier.
