AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - An Ellsworth man authorities say may have been involved in dozens of burglaries that spanned several towns in three counties has been indicted on 90 charges.

A grand jury in Kennebec County returned the 90 count indictment against 36-year-old Justin Ross recently. Charges include burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

The Kennebec Journal (https://bit.ly/1cu1zO4 ) reports that Ross was arrested in October after police found what they described as a “mountain of merchandise” in a Wayne home. More stolen property was found at another site in Livermore Falls.

Police said at the time as many as 50 homes in Kennebec, Franklin and Somerset counties may have been hit, with “tens of thousands” of dollars in goods stolen.

Prosecutors say drug addiction was the motive.

It’s not clear if Ross had a lawyer.
