LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The Bluegrass Sports Commission has announced that the Kentucky/Indiana All-Star Classic basketball game will return to Lexington for the first time since 1996.

This year’s showcase pitting the top boys and girls players from both states will be played on June 13 at Transylvania University’s Clive Beck Center in the three-year agreement announced Wednesday night by the commission and the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. It’s just the sixth time the city will host the long-running event.

WKYT-TV in Lexington and WYMT-TV in Hazard will televise the games and are working to syndicate the games statewide.
