2 teens charged with kidnapping held on $150K bond

MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) - Two teenagers are being held on $150,000 bond after being charged with kidnapping.

KLRT reports (https://bit.ly/1nqpz930 ) that 16-year-olds Bobby Hudson and Torrie Lawrence are also charged with aggravated robbery, residential burglary, terroristic threatening and theft of property.

Police say the teens forced a woman from her home and made her withdraw money from an ATM. She was eventually released unharmed near Prescott. Investigators say the teens had escaped from the South Arkansas Youth Services facility in Magnolia on Monday.

Pleas of not guilty were entered by a judge on the teens’ behalf during a court appearance Wednesday. The two are due back in court on Feb. 6.
