SEAFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a bicyclist who was hit by two vehicles in Seaford has died of his injuries.

Troopers say 48-year-old David Emery of Seaford died Wednesday in a rehabilitation facility, where he had been admitted weeks after the accident.

Police say on Oct. 5, Emery was trying to cross Sussex Highway when he was hit by a white pickup truck. Officers say he was thrown from his bike into the center of the road.

Trooper say when Emery tried to get up, he was hit by the right side mirror of a car. Police say the driver of the car made a U-turn and went back to the scene, but the pickup truck did not stop.

Emery was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
