Eastern Ill. man’s death likely caused by exposure

OAKWOOD, Ill. (AP) - Vermilion County authorities say an eastern Illinois man whose body was found outside an Oakwood home likely died from exposure.

WAND-TV reports (https://bit.ly/MkyBpQ ) an autopsy is expected to be performed Thursday.

The man’s body was discovered Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service in Lincoln says the temperature in Oakwood fell to 4 degrees on Wednesday.

Oakwood is about 25 miles west of Champaign.
