NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island woman was arrested after police say drugs and alcohol were used as more than 100 teenagers attended her daughter’s 16th birthday party. Two teens recovered after being treated at a hospital for intoxication.

Fifty-one-year-old Jayne Donegan of North Kingstown was charged with violating the state’s social host law, simple assault and obstructing an officer after Saturday night’s party. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance.

Police say they went to a home on Wilbert Way at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of youths drinking alcohol and being unruly.

Authorities say one of the teens taken to the hospital was found unresponsive and lying in vomit.

A message seeking comment was left for Donegan on Thursday. It’s not clear if she has a lawyer.
