CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Two former senior lawyers for the Pinal County Attorney’s Office have been cleared of ethics accusations leveled against them by the county Sheriff’s Office.

The accusations against Chris Roll and Joe Albo included that they disseminated confidential information to a member of the news media and had a conflict of interest regarding a client’s interests.

According to the Casa Grande Dispatch (https://bit.ly/Lev2R6), the State Bar of Arizona dismissed the complaint by the Sheriff’s Office and a state court committee later upheld the dismissal.

The committee says it concluded that there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence of misconduct by Roll and Albo.

Both worked under the administration of then-County Attorney Jim Walsh, who was defeated in his 2012 re-election attempt.
