VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Vicksburg man accused of murder in a shooting death outside a bar and two women accused of aiding him are scheduled for trial in September.

Jarvis D. Jones was arraigned this week after being indicted by the Warren County grand jury for murder. Deann Shanta Sims and Makita Latrice Turner were each arraigned on charges of accessory after the fact to murder.

The Vicksburg Post reports (https://bit.ly/1keiG8m ) that a judge set trial for Jones for Sept. 15. The judge set separate trials for Sims and Turner for Sept. 22.

Authorities say Jones is accused of killing 27-year-old Willie Swartz during an argument at in the early morning hours of June 21, 2013, in the parking lot of Starlight Lounge. They say Jones fled the scene with Sims and Turner.
