SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a pedestrian in Savannah.

Police say the man died after being struck by a pickup truck on President Street Thursday night.

Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller said the man was struck about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Miller tells The Savannah Morning News (https://bit.ly/1ddqdOM) that the man was wearing dark clothing and was pushing a cart on the road when he was struck.

Few other details were immediately released.
