WAHOO, Neb. (AP) - Pheasants Forever will be conducting a free tour of Lake Wanahoo on Saturday.

Tour topics include wildflower identification, wildlife habitat management and the history of Lake Wanahoo. The tour is free and will include lunch and refreshments.

The tour is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. People going on the tour will meet near the boat ramp on the west side of Lake Wanahoo.

The registration deadline is Thursday. People can register online at nebraskapf.com or by contacting Brian Teeter at 402-219-2572.

Lake Wanahoo sits a mile north of Wahoo in eastern Nebraska’s Saunders County.
