Man shot in Kahaluu; suspect taken into custody

HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu police say a suspect has been taken into custody after a fatal shooting Sunday in Kahaluu.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://bit.ly/1rb6gUY) reports a 60-year-old man was shot at about 12:15 p.m. in a home. KHON-TV reports the wounded man died at a hospital.

Police searched for the suspect by air and on foot.

Police say the 18-year-old suspect was initially held on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
