MARION, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say three people have been killed and 11 others injured in a fiery, multi-vehicle crash in north-central Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened Monday afternoon on state Route 423 in Marion.

The victims have been identified as 45-year-old Johanna Sisson, 50-year-old Edwin Sisson and 27-year-old Amanda Sisson, all of Marion.

Troopers say the crash happened when a car sideswiped another vehicle before continuing down the road and hitting four other vehicles. Two of those vehicles burst into flames as a result of the collision.

Authorities say a total of eleven people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s unclear if charges will be filed.

The crash remains under investigation.
