CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has scheduled upcoming public meetings on proposed new regulations for fishing, fish hatcheries and taxidermists.
A meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Sheridan Game and Fish Regional Office will cover proposed changes to the rules for fishing with artificial light and live bait imported from elsewhere. New rules applying to taxidermists also will be discussed.
Another meeting at 6 p.m. July 22 at the Casper Game and Fish Regional Office will cover only the proposed new fishing and hatchery regulations.
The Game and Fish Department is accepting comments on the changes through Aug. 17. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission plans to take up the regulations at a meeting Sept. 18-19 in Pinedale.
