Controversial TV host Joan Rivers has now added her two cents into the conflict in Gaza, and she leaves no question where she stands.

“If New Jersey were firing rockets into New York, we would wipe them out,” she told a cameraman with TMZ on Friday.

“I don’t want to hear anymore, ‘Oh, we’ll do a partial truce.’ The Palestinian, you cannot throw rockets, and expect people not to defend themselves. […] The BBC should be ashamed of themselves. And CNN should be ashamed of themselves,” she added.

In regards to the large number of civilian casualties in Gaza, Ms. Rivers blamed Palestinians for keeping weapons in their homes.

“I don’t care! They started it,” she said when asked where she thought refugees should go. “You’re all insane! They started it!”

Palestinian officials announced today that the death toll has reached over 1,000 since the conflict began.
