COLDEN, N.Y. (AP) - A 49-year-old man is in stable condition at a hospital after losing control of his pickup truck and crashing in Colden.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says David J. Arcara of Colden was driving on a state road when he lost control of his truck on a curve and went over a 70-foot ravine. He landed in a creek bed. It happened around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Arcara has been airlifted to Eric County Medical Center.



The crash is being investigated.
