ROARING RIVER, N.C. (AP) - A 17-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of a man and a woman at a Wilkes County home.
Investigators said deputies responding to a call of a fight and gunshots around 12:05 a.m. Thursday found the man and woman shot to death in a driveway near Roaring River.
Deputies arrested Kenneth Myers Jr. a short time later. He is at the Wilkes County jail and it wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
Investigators haven’t said whether Myers is related to the victims or what may have led to the shooting.
