NINETY-SIX, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say an 18-month-old girl has been struck and killed by a car at Lake Greenwood State Park near Ninety-Six.
Troopers say an SUV turning on to a road in the park hit the girl around 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox says and autopsy has been ordered.
Troopers are investigating why the child was in the road. No charges have been filed.
