DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A man operating a personal watercraft on the Des Moines River has been seriously injured in a collision with a boat.
Rescuers say the man in his 20s might have suffered a spinal injury, although he was able to move his arms and legs. He was hospitalized following the crash.
The July Fourth collision happened around 5:25 p.m. and caused the boat to capsize. None of the three people on the boat were injured.
