CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Three people face charges in connection with the death of a Charleston man whose body was found in the Kanawha River.

Media outlets report that 21-year-old Anthony Harriman, 27-year-old John Thurmond and 21-year-old Erica Cogar were arraigned late Saturday night in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

Harriman and Thurmond are each charged with first-degree murder. Cogar is charged with accessory to murder.



Police say the body of 51-year-old Martin Snodgrass was found Saturday morning in the Kanawha River near Magic Island. He was last seen Friday evening collecting aluminum cans in the area.
