PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a 28-year-old man resisted a robbery attempt and was shot, but was later released from a hospital.

The Philadelphia Inquirer (https://bit.ly/1mn3F6S ) reports that the attempted robbery took place at about 2:25 a.m. Sunday in the southwest part of the city. The victim told police that a hooded robber demanded money and shot him after the men argued.

The victim was released early Sunday from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.



No arrests have been made.
