SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police in Vermont say the death of a 54-year-old man at his South Burlington home is not being deemed suspicious.

South Burlington police say they were called the residence of Gary Bashaw on Shelburne Road just before 9 a.m. Sunday by someone concerned that he was unresponsive.

Police arrived and determined that Bashaw was dead. Authorities called his death “untimely” but not suspicious.

Officials say an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

The case remains under investigation.
