BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Revolutionary War reenactors will be at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington for a weekend event this month.
Next weekend, June 7 and 8, they will recreate an encampment of colonial militia who were training to reinforce the American forces in Canada in 1776.
The re-enactment will include lifestyle, tools and craft displays and presentations of home and military camp life.
The Warner Regiment will conduct training sessions and tactical demonstrations of the Continental Army.
On Sunday, June 8th, at 4 p.m. biographer Willard Sterne Randall will give a presentation on Burgoyne’s March during the Saratoga Campaign - an invasion that event organizers say was critical in securing foreign support that would ultimately lead to American victory.
