KENOVA, W.Va. (AP) - Kenova police are asking the public for help in finding whoever vandalized seven city murals.

Someone cut the murals, which depict events in the city’s history.

City Planner Gordon Jones tells media outlets that four murals might have to be replaced. The cost could be up to $1,000.

Police Chief Ray Mossman says the department is increasing patrols. Police also are working with the city to install a security camera.
