Maryland transfer Nick Faust has committed to play out his final year of eligibility at Long Beach State, the guard confirmed via his Instagram page on Tuesday morning.
Following his decision to transfer from Maryland following the season, Faust had originally committed to play at Oregon State. But coach Craig Robinson was fired in early May and Faust reopened his recruitment.
Faust was an area standout in high school when he decided to commit to Maryland, but he had three up-and-down years with the Terrapins. In 2013-14, Faust averaged 9.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
With this pledge, all five Maryland players who departed the program this offseason have now found a new destination.
Guard Seth Allen landed at Virginia Tech, guard Roddy Peters transferred to South Florida, forward Charles Mitchell chose Georgia Tech and forward Shaquille Cleare is headed home to play at Texas.
Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com was the first to report the Faust news.
