HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) - Police in southwest Ohio say a man suspected of fatally shooting his 29-year-old daughter and a 41-year-old man was booked into jail on charges of murder and obstructing official business.

Hamilton police say they found 55-year-old Alfred Rutherford in a park after they received a tip.

He was expected to be arraigned Thursday in municipal court. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

They sought Rutherford after officers responding to a report of gunfire at 2:24 a.m. Wednesday found Lacey Rutherford and Steve Watkins of Wilmington dead of gunshot wounds on the floor of a home. Police say the suspect and his daughter lived there.

Police said Rutherford had fled the home. They took him into custody without incident just before 11 a.m.
