HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -
State health officials say Meritus Health will manage Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.
The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said in a news release Tuesday that Meritus Health assumed the interim management and administration roles at the hospital on Tuesday.
Western Maryland Hospital Center is an acute, long-term care state hospital. It provides rehabilitation for patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, among other services.
