OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - The murder trial is beginning Wednesday for a man accused of shooting his mother and nephew two years ago in Lake Oswego.
The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1pRahKE ) lawyers for Adrien Graham Wallace will rely on an insanity defense. He could face a possible death sentence if convicted in Clackamas County Circuit Court of aggravated murder.
Defense lawyers say he is a paranoid schizophrenic. He was evaluated at Oregon State Hospital and found fit for trial.
Wallace is accused of shooting his 71-year-old Saundra Sue Wallace and 16-year-old Nicolas Brian Juarez at the home where Adrien Wallace lived with his mother.
