WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have charged a man with murder in the death of his father, whose body was found in a Webster City home.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says Webster City police received a call early Monday about a dead man in a home. When officers arrived they found the body of 61-year-old Steven James Graesch.

Authorities say Graesch died as a result of an altercation early Saturday with his son, 27-year-old Corbin James Graesch.

Corbin Graesch was charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Hamilton County Jail.

Court records didn’t list an attorney for Graesch.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Ankeny.
