2 people die in fire in northern Alabama

GRANT, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a fire that claimed the lives of two people in northern Alabama.

WAAY-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1d7yVT1) that the blaze happened Friday night in the Marshall County community of Grant.

Marshall County Coroner Marlon Killion says he isn’t releasing names of the people who died until an autopsy can be performed Monday.

Few other details were available Saturday afternoon.
