GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) - The city’s public works department has gone back to work on a weather-delayed road project.

The Delta Democrat-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1jEg5Vj ) crews have been rebuilding Lynn Circle since late summer 2013.

Public works director Brad Jones says the work was slowed first by rain and then by winter storms.

The expansive reconstruction includes new curbs and gutters, foundations and paving.

The project is scheduled to be completed during the spring.
