DENVER (AP) - The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a group of Aurora utility workers found human remains near the Front Range Airport.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Paul Gregory tells The Denver Post (https://bit.ly/1bVn1Nz ) the Aurora Water crew found the bones Thursday while working on a drainage system. The remains will be sent to a lab, where tests should determine how old they are. Investigators hope to find out who they belong to by comparing DNA samples to databank records.
