NEW YORK (AP) - Tyreek Duren scored from under the basket on an inbounds play that started with 0.7 seconds remaining to give La Salle a 64-62 victory on Saturday.

La Salle (14-14, 6-8 Atlantic 10) never trailed and led by as much as 15 in the first half. But Fordham (9-18, 2-12) pulled even and appeared to have forced overtime. The clock expired after Branden Frazier blocked the shot of La Salle’s Tyrone Garland out of bounds.

The officials reviewed the video and gave the ball back to the Explorers with just enough time for Duren’s game winner.

Sam Mills had 18 points, Jerrell Wright had 14 points and nine rebounds, Garland scored 11 and Duren 10 for La Salle.

Frazier had 23 points and six assists and Jon Severe added 10 points for Fordham. Bryan Smith’s free throws and jumper in the final 1:15 pulled the Rams even at 62.
