FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Police say a man was out of a jail for just a day before firing on patrons at a Fort Worth bar and killing a bystander.

Authorities say 30-year-old Mark Anthony Pacheco of Lake Worth was arrested Friday at a relative’s home. He’s being held at the Tarrant County jail on a murder charge, with bail set at $150,000.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports (https://bit.ly/NGIgaL ) Pacheco is accused of firing a weapon during an altercation at the bar Feb. 16. Three men were wounded and 56-year-old Sylvia Salazar was killed by a stray bullet. Salazar, a grandmother, was not involved in the dispute. Pacheco also was shot.

Pacheco had been arrested Feb. 14 on a warrant in Nueces (nyoo-AY’-sis) County, in South Texas. He was released the following day.
