RATON, N.M. (AP) - Police say close to three dozen vehicles in Raton have been hit in a bizarre tire-slashing spree.

KOAT-TV reports (https://goo.gl/N2JC25) that investigators say at least 32 vehicles have been vandalized since Friday in the small, northern New Mexico city. Police say some vehicles had one tire slashed while others lost all four.

Authorities have told residents to make a copy of repair bills and take them to the police station so officers could tie all the reports together into one investigation.

Police are uncertain about a motive and no arrest have been made.
