ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The store manager at the east Anchorage store of Great Alaska Council for Boy Scouts is accused of stealing more than $27,000 in a series of fraudulent credit card transactions.

The Anchorage Daily News (https://is.gd/TNGwzt) says 45-year-old Michael Saunders is charged with theft, falsifying business records and scheming to defraud.

According to charging documents, police received a complaint in December of suspicious circumstances at the store.

A phone call to Saunders’ public defender was not immediately returned Wednesday.
