Most dogs don’t have a voice when their owners lock them in the car, but a boxer named Fern found hers just fine by laying on the horn — for 15 minutes.

Graham and Fiona Haddow were visiting an art gallery in the Scotland suburb of Broughty Ferry when they left Fern in the enclosed car, Metro reported.

After about five minutes, Fern decided her owners had seen enough art and slid into the front seat, blasting the horn of and on for 15 minutes.

A group of passersby had gathered to take photos and video of the dog, when Mr. Haddow, 58, returned to the car.

“When I got closer, I realized people were pointing and laughing and taking pictures,” he told Metro. “She was sitting in there casually honking the horn.

Mrs. Haddow said: “It was as if she was saying: ‘Where have you been? I’ve been waiting.’ She is a bit of a diva, she just wants a bit of attention.”
