GRETNA, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a training and certification session for youth fishing instructors.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium.

Potential instructors will receive training and tools to conduct fishing clinics. The volunteers will have access to Game and Parks’ loaner fishing equipment and educational materials for events, as well as receive program incentives.

The aquarium sits in Schramm Park State Recreation Area, which is south of Gretna in eastern Nebraska.
