SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) - Three men have been taken into custody in northern Idaho after police say they took part in a home invasion that resulted in a 57-year-old Elmira resident receiving a superficial gunshot wound to the face.

Bonner County Sheriff’s Det. Sgt. Gary Johnston says 18-year-old Joseph Eugene Cleveland, 22-year-old Jonathan Lee Comstock, and 22-year-old Joseph Vencil Kluck Jr. were arrested Tuesday.

Johnston tells the Bonner County Daily Bee (https://bit.ly/1nMSCmv) that one of the men surrendered from a Sandpoint residence right away but two others had to be removed by an emergency response team after an 11-hour standoff.

Bonner County Prosecutor Louis Marshall says Kluck is facing an attempted murder charge. Marshall says Kluck also faces, along with Cleveland, robbery and second-degree kidnapping charges. Comstock faces a robbery charge.
