MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Medford police say a parking lot drug deal that turned into a rip-off left a 20-year-old woman badly hurt when two people seized her money and drove off with her clinging to the handle of their SUV.

Eventually, police say, the woman was shaken off and run over by a rear wheel.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1iB0qVh) that Brittney Debler was hospitalized Tuesday in critical condition.

The police said she counted out money in a deal Monday evening for painkillers and handed it through the window of the SUV. They took the money and drove off, swerving, and Debler lost her grip.

Police arrested two 19-year-olds, Andrew Daniel Arzner and Jerica Whittney Stinson. He was accused of robbery, assault and other charges, she of robbery.
