UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in southwestern Pennsylvania have released the names of two teenagers killed in a crash that also injured two other people.

The Fayette County coroner’s office said 17-year-old De’Andre Jones and 16-year-old Trevor McFadden were pronounced dead shortly after the 3 p.m. Wednesday crash in South Union Township.

Witnesses reported seeing the sedan carrying four Uniontown Area High School students traveling at high speed on Route 119 before it went out of control and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

School officials said counselors were made available for students and staff members and flags were being flown at half-staff.

The accident remains under investigation.
