DUNBAR, W.Va. (AP) - Kanawha County authorities are searching for a man who stole about $8,000 worth of diesel fuel from a West Virginia Paving storage tank near Dunbar.

Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Brian Humphreys says company officials initially had the tank inspected for leaks. They reported the theft after reviewing surveillance footage that shows a modified white pickup truck and a male driver at the scene.

The fuel was stolen in January and early February. Humphreys says police believe the man stole about 1,800 gallons of fuel.
