The son of former New Jersey governor and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. co-chairman Jon Corzine has died, according to reports.
Jeffrey Corzine, 31, had been working as a drug counselor at a Malibu treatment facility, but he had struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past, a source told the New York Daily News.
Details of his death were not immediately known.

“Mr. Corzine is obviously devastated by this tragic loss,” spokesman Steven Goldberg said in a statement. “We ask that all respect his family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”
Jeffrey Corzine is the youngest of three children by his father and ex-wife, Joanne Corzine.
