ELMA, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York residential mortgage servicer company plans to expand its business outside Buffalo, with nearly 250 new jobs expected to be created over the next five years.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says AMS Servicing, LLC, based in the Buffalo suburb of Depew, will expand its business at the former Motorola site in the rural town of Elma, just east of Buffalo.

The expansion of currently unoccupied space at the Jamison Business Park is expected to create 249 new jobs by 2019.

AMS Servicing says it plans to move into the building this summer.

The company’s project has received financial support from the state and a $219,000 sales tax break from Erie County.
