TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Toree Thompson scored 23 points to help Broken Arrow defeat Edmond Santa Fe 70-51 in the Class 6A girls final Saturday.
Jordan Doyle had 10 points and eight rebounds, Alexis Gauden scored nine points and Ashlyn McBride and Amari Dennis each added eight for Broken Arrow.
Tamara Lee scored 16 points and Aahliyah Jackson had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Santa Fe.
Broken Arrow shot 52 percent from the field and committed just seven turnovers. Santa Fe made just 19 of 53 shots, including 2 of 15 3-pointers, and missed 13 of 24 free throws.
Broken Arrow led just 34-32 at halftime before outscoring Santa Fe 20-11 in the third quarter and 16-8 in the fourth. Broken Arrow made 9 of 10 free throws in the second half.
