PRAGUE, Okla. (AP) - An online fund to raise money for two Oklahoma sisters who lost both parents within 48 hours has raised more than $13,000.

KFOR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1fNeKLC) that an auction to help 16-year-old Emily and 11-year-old Hallie Cooper is also planned for later this month.

The two girls and their mom, Crystal Cooper, were getting ready for an FFA competition when Crystal suffered a heart attack while clipping goats and died.

Despite the loss, Emily Cooper decided to participate in the show. Her aunt, Misty Griffith, says Emily came over the loss to make her mom proud.

Two days later, the two girls learned that their dad, John Cooper, had died in a car accident.

That’s when the FFA community decided to put together an auction and online fund.
