The Republican National Committee has launched a six-figure ad buy in 14 targeted states where the GOP hopes to flip Senate seats this fall in a campaign called “Create Your American Dream” that shows voters of various ages and races speaking about issues most important to them.

The targeted buys include cable networks that market to women, breaks during youth-oriented programming on the online streaming service Hulu, and ads targeting Spanish speakers, African-Americans and Korean Americans.

“This ad campaign will highlight why so many million Americans vote Republican,” RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said. “It’s because we fight to empower people. It’s because we believe in the value of every person. It’s because we know that each American should have the chance to create their own American Dream.”

Republicans need to pick up a net of six seats in the fall elections to seize outright control of the U.S. Senate. The ads will appear in Arkansas, Alaska, Louisiana, North Carolina, Colorado, Michigan, West Virginia, South Dakota, Iowa, Montana, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon, and Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C., and New York.
