- 9:30 a.m. Senate Education Committee. Creates a voucher program in Tennessee (SB0196); creates a community college program for all high school graduates (SB2471); makes students in the country illegally eligible for in-state tuition (SB1951). LP12.

- 11 a.m. House Budget Subcommittee. Proposal to strip local government control over whether to allow people with handgun carry permits to be armed at parks, playgrounds and sports fields (HB1407). LP29.

- 3:15 p.m. Gov. Bill Haslam joins conversation with former Gov. Jeb Bush and U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander at Hermitage Hotel, main ballroom, 231 6th Ave. N., Nashville.
