COGGON, Iowa (AP) - A 75-year-old man has died after a fall at a farm in eastern Iowa’s Buchanan County.

Sheriff’s deputies who were sent to the farm around 2:15 p.m. Monday found Donald Reilly unconscious on the ground. Deputies say Reilly had fallen off the top of a grain trailer parked next to a grain bin. The farm sits about five miles northwest of Coggon.

He was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital and then transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The sheriff’s office says Reilly was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at the Iowa City hospital.
