FORT KNOX, Ky. (AP) - A group of reserve soldiers from around the country are competing in the 80th Training Command’s annual Best Warrior Competition at Fort Knox.

The competition started Monday and runs through the end of the week.

The 100th Training Division is hosting the event to identify the best competitors in the enlisted and noncommissioned officer categories.

Competition events will include an urban assault course, physical fitness, rifle and pistol marksmanship and first aid.

Competitors were selected from reserve soldiers assigned to the 80th Training Command’s subordinate divisions - the 100th Training Division, headquartered at Fort Knox, the 102nd Training Division at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and the 94th Training Division at Fort Lee, Va.

An award ceremony will be held The General George Patton Museum and Center of Leadership on Friday.
